2.5MW Energy Storage PCS Boost Integrated Unit for Austrian Energy Storage Project

Jiangsu Unita Electric Equipment Co., Ltd. has delivered a 2.5MW energy storage boost converter integrated unit for an Austrian customer. This outdoor all-in-one energy storage prefabricated cabin features easy installation, simple commissioning and high integration, which can well meet the short construction cycle requirements of new energy energy storage power stations.

All electronic components of this project meet CE and IEC certification standards. The container is certified by classification society. The whole set of equipment comes with a 5-year warranty, and all cables adopted comply with American standards.

The PCS boost integrated unit consists of one 2500kW energy storage converter (PCS), one oil-immersed transformer, one set of high-voltage switchgear, one low-voltage power distribution & communication cabinet and related connecting cables. The PCS performs AC/DC conversion and controls bidirectional energy flow. The 20kV transformer converts grid 20kV voltage to 690V for PCS operation. The high-voltage incoming cabinet connects to the grid connection point, while the low-voltage distribution & communication cabinet handles auxiliary power distribution, measurement & control devices and external communication interfaces.

Adopting outdoor integrated layout, the complete skid is supplied in 2.5MW unit package, integrating 2500kW PCS, 2500kVA oil-immersed transformer, 20kV high voltage switchgear, low voltage & communication cabinet and internal connection cables.

This energy storage PCS boost integrated set is equipped with fire alarm system, lighting system, heat dissipation system, measurement, control & temperature monitoring system and video surveillance system for safe and stable on-site operation.
